Patrick is currently the Owner and Managing Member of Blacktree LLC.
Patrick received his B.S. in Applied Science from the U.S. Naval Academy. After serving
five years overseas as a Naval Officer, he returned to the U.S to obtain an MBA from the
University of Chicago. In addition to his civilian job responsibilities, Patrick served in
various assignments as a Cryptologic Naval Reserve officer - attaining the rank of
Captain.
Patrick’s past volunteer involvement includes 10 years of serving on the Board of
Directors of UCAN, a social services agency serving more than 13,000 children, youth,
and families in Illinois. He also served on the Advisory Board of the Graduate School of
Social Work, Dominican University.
Patrick and his spouse, Leoneen Woodard-Faust MD, raised their two sons in the Hyde
Park community of Chicago, Illinois
