Veterans in Financial Markets (VFM) Rebrands; adds Industry Expert, Maureen Sills
New York, NY | September 6, 2023 - The Veterans in Financial Markets (VFM), formerly Veterans Capital Markets Career Forum (VCMCF), is proud to announce the addition of Maureen Sills to the VFM team. VFM is a volunteer-led, veteran career transition resource that assists veterans in transitioning to careers in the securities industry. VFM does this by providing a dedicated forum for Education, Facilitators, and Transition Support to Veterans considering post military service careers in the Securities Industry. Maureen will focus on coordinating volunteers in matching and tracking facilitation and partnerships with external organizations.
Maureen has an incredible background in financial services having worked over 35 years for industry
leaders like Thomson Reuters and Fidessa. Most recently, Maureen was a Senior Solutions/Service
Delivery Manager with extensive experience in financial services real-time market data delivery and multi-asset trading platforms driving service delivery and service transformations to meet industry standards and clients’ business-critical needs. Maureen brings a unique project management background that encompasses the integration of business and technology to achieve successful delivery of projects, products and services. Over the past 10 years, Maureen has also provided job search coaching to assist job seekers develop the skills they need to move to the next step in their careers.
